A contestant, Chelsea, who was seven years old, sang Alicia Keys’ “Girl On Fire” on the singing competition The Voice Kids. Chelsea made the right choice to come! Inviting the young performer to continue performing on their respective teams, two of the three judges turned to her as soon as the first notes were played and pressed the red button. The third judge’s attention was quickly drawn to the girl.
This is all a dream. We can all recognize this song by the way this 3-year-old girl sings it. She plays it with such confidence and precision, as if she had been perfecting her craft for years. To see such promise in someone so young is astonishing. Perhaps we are witnessing the beginning of a star’s career. Either way, it is a touching sight to watch.
